    GW-6900BC Stealthed

Just received this in a package from Japan on Friday. Tried removing the bezel paint with Goof Off over two days through a slow process of submerging, brushing and washing (10 minutes intervals) but when I finally got most of the paints off, the bezel bloated.

Left the bezel to dry over 2 days and now it's shrunken back to 95% of the original shape. Took a black roller ink pen to write over the small fonts at the function buttons, left to dry and washed off the excess off the surface. Painted the EL button "G" with Tamiya flat enamel paint, left for 10 mins and wipe off excess from plastic surface.

Now I'm considering anodizing or PVD the function buttons and the four screws black. First I'd have to figure out a way to remove the buttons...

For now I'm definitely LOVING this!

Nice mod. I never understood why they made the G on the G button brown. I may have to do this to mine as well.

Interesting, I just purchased one and there is no recessed lettering on the bezel, just paint.

Then it sounds a little bit like a fake...

I took a second, closer look and the letters are recessed, I couldn't feel anything when I ran my finger over the letters. All is good.
