3570.50 up close and personal (large picture content)

Finally had the chance to take some shots this weekend of my new Speedmaster. I love photography as much as I do watches...I'm a very visual person. Because of that, enjoy

    Hey nick

Nikon D90 and a Tamron 90mm macro lens. Natural lighting and a tri-pod

Cool Re: 3570.50 upclose and personal (large picture content)

Interesting... I have a Canon EF100 Macro and I couldn't get quite that close. I need to play with it more but I could only get so close before I'd lose my focus. (I focus manually.)

Pretty nice for a Tamron lens. I have a fisheye lens from them and it's "okay" - but could be better.

Thanks. With some heavier cropping and about F/40 I can get in a little closer.

Tamron makes a few killer lenses....the 90mm macro is one of them. Their QC issues are horrid on most of their stuff, but for some reason not this one.

There are tons of reviews on this lens on the web....they make it in Canon mount as well and it is very affordable for a 90mm F/2.8 macro. It pulls double duty as an excellent portrait lens as well.

Yes new from the FAD. It's a great watch I wish you good fortune in acquiring one one day.

Incredible pictures, just making me want one even more! I particularly love the picture that is a side view of the lugs, showing how curvy and beautiful they are.

    Nice work!
