This was handheld. I need to get a tripod suitable for macro work so I can do some focus stacking so more of the movement is sharp.

Parts are nice and sharp. Like the Craigger suggested, give it a try a few shots at a f22 with your tripod, If that doesn't get the entire movement in focus, beside focus-stacking, you might back off a little distance-wise just a little so your depth of field isn't quite so shallow.

Thanks for the comments, guys. I was pretty pleased with the results given the large aperture required to hand hold the shot (and given the fact that it was hand held!).
I own a couple of tripods already in different sizes so I will probably look into getting a horizontal column for one of them and then I'll play with smaller apertures and focus stacking.
Wish is could take pictures like that.
