I've always wanted to know what it felt like to wear a bumper watch. The one I picked up intrigued me because it's face was filled with numbers. When I got inside, a caliber 341 motor was staring back at me.

It was my understanding that cal 341 was used strictly with the Centenary model. It's also my understanding that Omega would regularly alter the looks of watches in any line. But this watch is too far from that tree for me to accept that as a possibility.

Was the 341 more common than I thought? Did the watch start out as a 28.10 and someone switched out the face? And if so, what line did the face come from? Maybe someone made a fake and used a rare drive to power it?

As you can tell, I'm out of my league in the historical department, so if anyone can clue me in on what it is I've got, I'd appreciate it.
