The Omega Speedmaster was my first 'real' watch. Before the Speedy I wore a Casio Pro-Trek and a G-Shock. I had been looking at fine watches for some time and after reading about the Speedmaster, there was no question, it had to the Moonwatch. At the time I just started with my photography hobby. This was the result:
I did not have a macro lens then, so I reversed my kitlens, which made it a macro lens. I couldn't control the aperture (it was always wide open) and I needed lots of light to make it work. Regardless, this wasn't the best solution for macro photography, but it worked :D
Then I sold my Speedy, which I still regret. But I will get another, no question. I became such a watch freak that I even entered the watch business by working as eCommerce Manager of Ace Jewelers. The first watch I had to make a picture of was this beautiful limited edition Speedmaster:

I quickly fell in love with the De Ville Hour Vision Annual Calendar:

I've always had a weak spot for the Seamaster collection. I have owned a 45.5 PO, but it was just too big so I sold it. Then the new Proplof came out. WOW! Another watch that is high on my wishlist. The only reason I didn't buy it is at the time I wanted a watch that I could also wear with a suit. You can say much about the Ploprof, but it just doesn't go well with a suit :D
