    The Omega Railmaster

My first Omega, yet it feels like an old friend.
There`s just something special about this watch.

The Railmaster is next on my hit list...

I was kind of wanting the 49mm simply because it stands out from the rest due to it's manual movement...and well...It's huge...

I think I may go with the 42mm though...

All I know is the next Omega I purchase will be a Railmaster...

Go to an AD and try on the 39mm. It wears bigger than you would think.

If I had $2k to drop right now, it would most definitely be on the 42mm Railmaster!

    Re: The Omega Railmaster

I love the Railmaster! At one point, I was looking at getting a Panerai Basic Luminor or Radiomir. I love the simplicity of them, and the lume on them also. However, I just could not get into the whole Radiomir thing, especially with no suitable AD here, at least as far as I'm concerned.
Sold a couple of Breitlings, and got a new Aqua Terra 8500, which I absolutely love. One day, however, the Railmaster is on my list. Maybe next year! Again, the simplicity of the watch, and also the lume as in your photo is amazing.
    Cheers,
    Carl

The 42mm will be my next watch for sure. I see it as a cross between AT and PO
