OMEGA SPEEDMASTER PROFESSIONAL "REPLICA" ST 345.0222.HELP NEEDED.

Hi Guys,
I recently purchased this OMEGA SPEEDMASTER PROFESSIONAL "REPLICA" ST 345.0222,from a private seller in the UK.I have been trying to date this watch,but without much success.It has a serial number 48313318,which is on both movement & rear of case lug.According to the database,this serial number dates this watch to 1985,but surely that can not be correct,as this model was not introduced until the early 1990s,i believe!!!
This watch comes on a Omega 1498/840,which i believe is original to this watch.But again,this strap was also not made available by Omega until the mid 1990s.
Also,this watch has a 17 jewel Omega caliber 861 & not the 18 jewel Rhodium plated 1861.

I am confused,can someone please help me resolve the issue of the correct date of manufacture for this watch.Any help would be gratefully received,cheers. Michael.
