    Stacking my Seamaster 14364

Today I tried photo stacking for the first time. For those of you that are not familiar with this technique, it's pretty basic. With macro the depth of field is normally very small resulting in a nice blur of the back- or foreground. With stacking you shoot several shots with different parts in focus and combine them with some simple software (HDR is similar on lighting). The end result is a macroshot without blur where everything is in focus.

I must say I'm impressed with the results. Take a look on Flickr at the full-sized image to get a good look at the effect (All sizes | Seamaster Stacked | Flickr - Photo Sharing!).
