3133 chrono reset: the old problem (?)

I have a number of older 3133 chronographs which have what seems to be a common problem: the chronograph seconds hand fails to reset to zero. My friendly local watchmaker can only fix this problem temporarily; after a few uses of the chronograph it reappears. The good news is that he does not charge me for these small repairs. The bad news is that the problem reccurs and he has other (and more profitable) things to do. Is there a more permanent remedy for this? I know the question is probably too general but any help would be appreciated.

Also, the same friendly watchmaker has asked me to try and find a technical manual of sorts for 3133 service. Do any of you know of such a thing?

Interestinly enough, a couple of 3017 I have don't have this proble and are much smoother to operate.

Actually you seem more knowledgeable than my friendly watchmaker! Your figures clarify a lot and I appreciate your trouble, thank you very much! I will get my loupe and case opener out first thing in the morning!
In my issued OKEAH, the chrono. seconds index resets at the same error of +3 seconds every time. It seems that this would rule out figure 1 because the heart cam on the seconds wheel would have freedom to move in the position shown. Does this make any sense whatsoever?
    Thanks again

    Best wishes,
