    Anyone know the model no?

Just picked up this Amphibia, the bezel is pretty banged up so I’d like to replace it but can’t find the details on it. Anyone know the model number of this guy?

The crystal can be polished to remove minor scratches or a new one can be purchased quite cheaply from many online vendors.

If you want to retain authenticity then you can use either the bezel with lume pip as shown on my example, or a similar one with numbers, or the black acrylic insert bezel as shown in the catalogue scans I've provided below.

Re: Anyone know the model no?

I did use cerulam oxide for all my crystal polishing needs but tried out some stuff from a company called Watch-fix.net I got from ebay and unlike the cerulam which seems to clog using a power tool, this stuff is effortless and better than polywatch imho It has brought all my crystals to like they are new, very clear and even got the nasty deep score off my Amphibia crystal first application.

I have the same bezel as shown in Mariomart's vid there on my octagonal Amphibia, whose original bezel was pretty crudded up and the lume pip was all but gone. Same on my 090 the bezel was toast so are both sitting in my tub of Vostok bezels waiting refurbishment but I am thinking my home plating kit isn't going to be man enough to plate the chrome, I could bright nickel which is pretty close to chrome but it is a different hue to the watch case.
Rather sad, slightly mad 3 wheel van toting cat doting ol' timer...
