    Question Is it an authentic Chistopol Sputnik?

    Saw this for sale, is it real, or just another fake/franken product? Thank you very much!

    Dial, hands: good. Mechanism is not. Should be 17 jewels. See attached.

    It looks authentic to me except the movement has been replaced. If it can be bought for a reasonable price it may be worth "restoring" by swapping a '58-'59 "Chistopol" movement from a parts watch like this one:
