Question can Any one provide me some info on this watch

    Hi all,
Need some help, I'm trying to get more information about this watch I got in Berlin in 1992. here are some Pics and what I already know also looking for some one to service it, any recommendations.
    Watch face, center:
    Albatross
    17 Stones

    Watch face, bottom:
    Made in USSR

    Back of Watch, Top:
    Waterproof to 200 Meters

    Back of watch, Center:
    Amphibian

    Back of Watch, Bottom:
    Shockproof”

    Albatross
This watch line is devoted to Russian aeronautical engineering. Name of the line comes from a name of a real plane – well-known amphibian aircraft A-40 – ALBATROSS. Watches are remarkable for original design, they are made on the basis of two mechanisms: 3133 and 31682 with additional 24-hour scale and an indicator “Day and Night”. Multifunctionality of the watch face allows to perform many operations on measuring time characteristics of different processes, percentage ratio and so on. Accuracy movement and water resistance 3 ATM provide an opportunity of their every day use, these watches are reliable and convenient.

also looking for some one to service it, any recommendations.

    Thanks
    cheers

That description you have goes with a different watch, a Volmax Albatros Chronograph.

    Thanks Nick,
I pulled the description off of a web search. I also noticed that you have a similar watch in your collection, at least the face. bezel seems to be different. :thanks

It's Vostok Albatross. Movement Vostok cal 2409. Was made in late 80's or early 90's. Water resistant 200 m.
The movement is quite simple. I think that every skilled watchmaker could service it.

Yes, it's a soviet era Albatros, probably from the late '80s. Water resistant to 20 ATM, with a stainless steel case.

Sorry Andy, posted same time as you .
