    Question Help Dating Poljot

I bought this Poljot a month ago and was wondering what year it was made in:

The movement is a Poljot 2614.2h

It would be much appreciated if someone could help me date this watch!

    Thanks,

It's from the late 80s. The specific year can't be determined without original paperwork, since completely identical watches were made for consecutive years.

You can tell it's late Soviet period because it's stamped "SU" rather than the factory.

How come some models have English logos and some in Russian?
What is the reason for that?

Some are for internal market and others for export. You will also find same watch is called differently between different markets. There are Secondas, Carnavins, etc that have Soviet equivalents (Raketas, Poljot, etc).
