    Just bought this off EBay

Can anyone give me any info on this? All my Vostoks are Amphibians and Komandirski’s. I won this for $10.50. Couldn’t resist. Does it have a name?

No special name. Vostok. Made in 92-93. Here are the photos from the catalogs of similar watches. Good condition. Just lume is missing from the hands. Can be added easily at home. Great price. Enjoy!

The color of the anti-shock spring is post Soviet, the three slotted LH screw and the color of the "dog-leg" leaf spring are correct. Perhaps the balance (bridge) or just the anti-shock spring have been changed out .... but hej, for that price .... great find

They have a 18mm strap and these watches are indeed called several names; cadet, mini, junior or baby .... it's also unclear female / male or kids

Sometimes instead of re-luming the hands, the old fashion white "correction tape" is applied to the back of the hands, which yields an okay result

I find these pictured along with a bunch of other Vostok "amphibians" first in the 1990 catalog. Some of you Russian speakers may be able to read a particular name for these in the written description: https://get.google.com/albumarchive/...HxhW2XN-DTOJw7.

At just under 34mm I find it hard to believe they were intended for women, I always assumed they were just another choice available from Vostok if you were looking for a "dive"-type watch a little smaller than the other models.

I have never found a Vostok watch in a soviet-era catalog advertised as being made for a women or for children.
