Seems like a strange move to try to sell the entire collection all at once over ebay. One of, if not the most important, private collection of preserved and documented Soviet era time pieces. Anyone know the story?

Comes out to only $400 per watch

I can only imagine the eBay fees on $600k

But at least it's free shipping...

I'd prefer a good insurance if I pay $600K.... I could assume $1K more if assured, and $1000 is a good price too, considering the entire volume.

What will be with Mark's website, which a lot of us are using as one of the more reputated reference?

As much as i would like to a quick estimate of 10,000 members at around £45 each would cover it. Such a pity.

I lost my mind wondering how I would feel if I had the most important collection about soviet watches in the world...

    But I'm just a proletarian...

Wonder what his profit would be on that sale. I'm sure he bought many well below current market at the dawn of soviet watch collecting and the $50 Strela.

I guess his website would be the catalog. How would you like to be assigned the task of verifying completeness?

    Good luck, Mark!
