Looks great just wish it had a mechanical luch movement. It's really a shame they havent developed their own automatic movenent.

You’re right but they were sooo close to full collapse., and are just recovering from coma. The 1801.1 saved them because they had loads of old stock, and they had that brilliant idea of launching an entry-level novelty — the one-hander — at the very moment the niche became fashionable.
Automatics? Well, they use Miyota’s 8xxx for affordable lines, and —probably thanks to F. Muller— ETA for premium. It makes sense in return for investment terms.
I personally wish they could re-tool to produce again their full three hands, flat, hand-winding 2209 calibre. Now that Miyota unexpectedly and brutally stopped supplying both its non-automatic mechanisms, it leaves only ETA (and Chinese movements) on this market.

Yeah I have a vintage 2209 and I love it.

It's kind of a shame to be using miyota movements when the entire charm of these Russian companies is that they're using vintage in-house movements.

Personally I would never buy a watch from a Russian company that uses a non-russian movement, but perhaps I'm just being snobbish.

EDIT: I should say ex-soviet watch, luch is Belorussian obviously.

Oh, well... This year, I ordered three (!) watches with hand-wound Miyota heart (while available!); one from England (Marloe), the other from Poland, the third from Singapore.
So, I wasn’t too prejudiced against Luch’s Big One-Hand with Miyota automatic. That DLC black model is a real beauty in flesh, and wears like a charm, while its factory on-line catalog renderings (not photos...) are just awful

The more I see it, the more I think it’s the most legible and comfortable one-hander I’ve seen. A great design, with green on black. That Ø “spinner” replacing the sub-second dial is the cherry on the cake. Forget all Kemmner’s and other German, or Swiss, “Einzeiger”.

I just had a look on their site and they now have these. ETA movement (2801-2) and sapphire glass. US$390.
