Something interesting on a not so interesting watch

I bought an obvious franken "Amphidirskie" for use as parts/replacement components came with a Poljot stamped leather strap. I got it in today and found out it is the MATCH for my little Poljot Spetznaz 3133 that I got in the other day. It came from the same seller....SO I did better than I thought! LOL!

    Back together again!

Very nice! I had something similar (thought not quite so perfect) happen with a strap. I had a strap on my old 2005 Volmax Shturmanskie that had two black ribs and white stitching. It finally was pretty worn out this year, but I couldn't find a match online (it was marked Aviator). I bought a Strela from Julian in May and lo and behold one of the extra straps he included was a Pilot strap that was a dead ringer for the old one on my Shturmanskie! Saved me money and a better match than I could buy.
