    Soviet scientist's watch on Netflix

It's a bit off topic, but have a look at the wrist of these Soviet scientist in Stranger Things S3. A friend of mine posted this on fb.

Now that's attention to detail by the show's production crew!

If you look closely, some of the soldiers were also wearing Vostoks.

Dod not see the show. What year the events are taking place? If 60s, then Bravo! If 80s then not so much... 🙂

    Why? I'm wearing a '90s watch and it's 2019

Not really, as long as it isn't anachronistic it's fine. If he's wearing an 80's watch when the show is supposed to be taking place in the 60's then we have a problem.

I expect that the strong electromagnetic field that caused the refrigerator magnets to fall would have magnetized all the watches around too, wouldn't it?

The local watch community would have gone crazy trying to explain why all their watches suddenly running too fast all at the same time. Let's leave that plot twist to season 4, hopefully :).

So the scientist and soldiers really should have worn Vostok Antimagnetic. Now imagine that would have been attention to detail.
