My first Vostok arrived from Meranom! Wanted to go for a classic look to start.

Admittedly I was a little underwhelmed at first, but for some reason, the more I wear it the more it grows on me.

Ordered an am-diver bezel to boot and the upgraded bracelet from Meranom.

Curiously seems not to be the latest 710 case--I much prefer the one you show.

timing? nothing. itís a three hand watch. with a case of bananas in the background. with proper gas and not too cold it takes them 2 days to ripen to eating stage. though trust me iíve felt like timing their ripening before!

i should pay more attention to the bezel position haha!

Oh you're one of those monsters that doesn't set their bezel to zero!

haha typically itís set at zero! not sure how it ended up this way. itís really only important (to me) where the bezel is when you go to set the timer. which is basically never!

I find excuses to time all sorts of nonsense. Most usually how long I've been waiting for a simple drink from a slow bartender. Turns into a discussion sometimes when my SO catches me doing it after the server walks away.
