If you limit yourself to only ISO standard certified watches you'll limit yourself to a very narrow subsection of the watch world.
No, i'm not limited myself with ISO standarts at all, almoust all my watches is Amfibia, without any certification.

No, but I'll give them a jingle when I'm wrapped up with Archimede.

Due to the fact there is a shield of mild steel and the movement ring is also mild steel I assume they are effective if the dial is also shielded in the same fashion, in this case the movement would be almost completely enclosed in a Faraday cage.

Making a watch antimagnetic despite of what Rolex says is not that difficult.

Specification-wise they do sound comparable - automatic in-house movements, steel cases, waterproof, sapphire crystal etc.....

Assuming one would pay that much for any Swiss or Japanese watch - the Russian counterpart will be a less assured return on investment when one comes to sell it. That's it.

(Not that I would pay that for a Swiss watch, nor that I look for ROI - but we can all play devil's advocate!)

Yeah. I'm inclined to agree with you. Most manufacturers do just fine with basic tools.

I’m surprised that Raketa Amphibia doesn’t get more love. It’s sexy as hell and unique in a world of clones and pretentious look at me brands.

I guess we are all spoiled with the extremely affordable Vostoks.

Do any memebers have this watch and can offer a wrist shot?

I agree it is a looker. I didn't even know they existed until recently and I think that could be true for a lot of folks. You don't see them on ebay, in any watch blogs, the Divers forum, or even in f10 for that matter.

Makes me wonder WHO actually buys the CURRENT production Raketas?

Maybe these customers prefer Russian language watch forums? Or they do not actually participate in online watch fora or blog about it?

If purely based on the few NEW Raketas seen here on f10, I believe the company would've folded by now.
