Fair price for early 1950's SS Seamaster?

    Hi Everyone,

I am new to this forum and would like to get an idea of what would be a fair average price to pay for an early 1950's Seamaster.
More specifically: stainless steel case, bumper mvt., no calendar; assuming the watch is in good condition without significant cosmetic
damage, running but requiring a complete cleaning prior to being worn regularly.

Also, is the cleaning of these watches something that can be handled by most watchmakers?

Thanks in advance for the good insights and best regards,

    Oliver
