I guess the story is not full without traditional shots, taking into account the specifics of this site.
Somewhere between Key West and Key Largo
Key West, the Gulf side. The Ocean side of Key Largo is build up with private villas with marinas.
Mayakka river state park... Miles and miles of wilderness. The ranger we met on a wooden tower with binoculars on the trail made for tourists showed us a way to the place where common tourist don't go, because is was "a good walk",
- You may see there lots of alligators, - he said. - Just don't come too close...
So we registered at rangers house and took our good walk... What he was thinking about, I wonder now. Firstly, he had to know, that the waters were too high for us to reach the place. And secondly what if we came too close... Anyway. We had made 5 miles (round trip) through the place full with wild hogs, huge spiders and crazy mosquitoes...
Fort Lauderdale with its huge beaches. I have been at Atlantic before. In Europe, in Cuba, in Dominican Republic... But for the first time the water was so clean and warm.

Takes me back a bit~Thanks for the memories, cheers!
Yeah, it's beautiful down here. I'm just outside of Ft. Lauderdale. Was that picture taken across the street from Beach Place? (The place with the Hooters and the little shops)
Anyway, I've been to almost all of those places numerous times, and must admit, this is quite the photogenic state.
