The advantages of a pro-body ... Metering with AI-S lenses

Images below were captured with the Nikkor 50/1.2 AI-S... and 105/2.5 AI-S, I love older manual focus lenses

A few examples from today's shoot with the AI-S lenses and coffee after the shoot... Just quick and dirty conversions to JPEG from RAW...

How sharp is the 105/2.5 AI-S ... Well, you be the judge

Nice shots..........gotta love the 50mm F1.2, great lens. All I need now is the D300, my D70 is getting tired.

Good pictures. Unfortunately the last picture should be focused on the eye and not the eye-lashes. If you don't focus on the eyes then the picture looks out of focus.

That D300 is a great camera, you'll wonder why you didn't switch sooner, I went from a D70s to a D2Hs to a D300 and now a D3... The only body I did not keep is the D70s and the D2Hs is soon to probably go on the auction block... perhaps.
