    The first one is a winner! Your 7D seems to handle chromatic aberations well - branches against sky is always difficult. A couple very small points, I'd adjust the curves just slightly to try to make his white feathers a bit more white - and maybe a smidge of sharpening. It could just be how the jpg compression and my monitor make it appear.

    Thanks, it's been sharpened, I'm far from an expert at it though. Photography is only a hobby, a serious one, but still a hobby. As for the chromatic aberations, having a 500mm f/4L on the 7D makes a big difference. It's the glass that matters, and all my stuff is the top shelf L glass.

    Hi Tim,

    Great pics. I also took a look at your other albums. I was at many of the same RA events as you! I used to live in both WI and IL. Love historic racing....great shots!
