    Bit of photoart fun

I have never used and don't have photoshop, but have other softwares collected over the years that can do most anything to an image. Every so often I play around with them.

Liked this photo of the old harbour in Honfleur in Normandy, France and decided to do an old style oil image of it - with suitable manipulation.

Straightened up some of the buildings, took out the wide angle lens distortion - added few bits here and there and voila...not a masterpiece but...OK.

Isn't it great what you can do with digital - you certainly couldn't do that with the old film camera.....we are in a digital age no doubt...

Have done already - to UK A3 size without any pixellation problems.
Used a pigment printer (as opposed to dye) to heavyweight watercolour art portfolio acid free media - it looks very good.
Best reason there is to have a high definition camera - the possibility of printing big.
