    Blue Hour

    Nikon D100, Sigma 12-24mm f/4.5-5.6 @24mm, 8 sec f/16

Buildings of the West Kowloon Reclamation Project (aka Union Square) with the all dominating International Commerce Centre. The upper part of the ICC nearly vanishes in the low hanging clouds - well, personally I would not book a room in "the world's highest hotel". In the right background you can just make out the Bank of China Tower and 2IFC on Hong Kong Island. Shot accross the Yau Ma Tei Typhoon Shelter, from the tip of the northern breakwater. See where this picture was taken.

Wonderfully done, Mark - love the foreground silhouettes that tie in nicely with the soft ethereal lighting. You caught the magic minutes well that day.

Excellent shot, Mark. Although there is no hotel at the top of the ICC, is there? I thought the W hotel (one of my favorites, by the way) is located in one of the building second to left.

At approximately what time was this picture taken, may I ask?

The "W Hong Kong" is in the Cullinan II Tower, correct. As for the ICC: There will be a hotel in the ICC - as soon as the outfitting is finished, short quote:
"A 7-star Ritz-Carlton hotel with 300 rooms will be located near the top portion of the tower on 13 floors. [...] The 7-star hotel will be the highest elevated hotel in the world, surpassing the one in Jin Mao Tower."

Agreed - looks like a scene out of Blade Runner.
