    Picture Light box

This is my first attempt to use a light tent/box. It's harder than I thought! Comments, suggestions are welcome. :thanks

    WOW - very nicely done!!

I love the white balance and composition of each. Looks like you've nailed it. Congratulations!

    Re: Light box

    Great stuff.

I know it's hard especially when there is no AR coating on the crystal, but there are some angling/lighting tricks to avoid reflections from the crystal. Aside from using off-cam strobes at different angles, try using a cover sheet with a cut out for the lens to completely enclose the object/subject.

    Cheers

#1 is wonderful! Focus is nice and sharp across the whole image.

    Re: Light box

Thanks all! The light box is Square Perfect SP300 Classic Photo Studio which came with two tents, a 30" x 30" x 30" and a 12" x 12" x 12, two lights but I had to use a third top light, backgrounds, case and an adjustable up tripod.
I got it from the bay for under $65.

I especially love photo #2. Really shows off the lume quite brilliantly. And all that for under $65? Really not a bad deal at all.

Nice pics. And an awesome deal on the gear - it really helped in the shots.
