    Liight Room 3

    Just wondering if anybody has any experience installing and running this software on on a Mac Power Book G4 Non-intel processor.

    I use Photoshop CS5 (which rocks), although I hear good things about lightroom. Have you tried it out? Adobe offers trial versions. Have a peek at this forum, they are chock full of folks that use this stuff in their professional work.

    I have it, and use it, on my PC. I'm sure it's available for Mac, and (as noted) they give you a 30-day free trial.

    I also have Photoshop CS5, and use LR3 for most of my processing, only going to CS5 for work on portions of a photo (LR3 does not allow you to select an area to have the process apply).

    works fine on my MAC pro, Im sure it will run fine on your non intel proc.

    I'm not certain, but I thought I read that when they went from LR2 to LR3 they removed the support for PowerPC processors. So if you're still on a non-Intel, you wouldn't be able to run LR3. LR2.5 should be fine though.
