    More bubble macro shots

It's been especially wet and windy this weekend, so I've been dunking things in fizzy water again (links to bigger pic under each photo):

    Obligatory watch shot:

1st is very nice, but i think that would be better if you moved frame a bit lower :)
    2nd is great.
3rd would be nicer if the whole ring was in the frame :) and maybe a little lower perspective :)
    Thanks for sharing :)

#1 is straight out of the camera not a crop, full frames availble on my Flickr
#3 is missing the top as I've no magic way of suspending it in the middle of a water tank, there is a piece of string in the orginal image (covered in bubbles so it's impossible to PS out).

#1 this is why i suggested what would be nicer to do before you took the picture, not what to do now :) advise for future :)
#3 i am aware of how difficult it is to take pictures of rings that try to get out of the frame :)

    Re: More bubble macro shots

If anybody is interested one of my bubble macros will be appearing in the January edition of "Practical Photography" (showcase feature) and some of my other macro work (oil on water) is subject to a 2 page "How to" article in the same mag, well chuffed!! I only picked up dSLR 4 minths ago.
