    More shots from the "light-box":

I had some time this afternoon to put into practice the tips and advice given to me by those who took the time to critique my previous thread. Here are some samples of the "improvements":

I'm pretty pleased with the results - thanks for the advice!

    Best,

For me, every day is a new thing. I approach each project with a new insecurity, almost like the first project I ever did, and I get the sweats. I go in and start working. I'm not sure where I'm going - if I knew where I was going, I wouldn't do it. Frank Gehry

Lovely shots - which camera are you using, can I ask? Is it the Panasonic?

    Thanks Barnaby,

These were shot with my Nikon D90 and my Nikkor 105mm f/2.8 Macro lens. I should also mention that these were also all hand-held. No tripod.

This was my "step-up" from the Lumix, as I felt I was outgrowing it's capabilities as my interest in photography as a hobby grew.

The learning curve is steep, but I'm gradually getting the hang of it

    Best,
    Wallace

I should also mention the fact that they are great watches - the GP is something special. Thanks for sharing these with us. I took the time to go back and look at your other thread and can really see an evolution of style and technique (not that the other shots weren't great as well).

    Thanks Barnaby,

Glad you can see there is an improvement... It's all about light (and practice)
