    My turn to play with macro tubes :D







    Taken with my junky 18-55 kit lens at 55mm, with all 3 macro tubes. Shot at f/16 so there's actually some DoF :D Used my 550EX on-camera with my homemade cardboard box diffuser. I guess the angle of the lighting means you don't get a lot of the detail in the movement shots, but it looks very dramatic :D

    Lookin' good Squish! I rather like the more dramatic lighting, has a gritty and industrial feeling - like the movement is a strong, workhorse piece of engineering.

    Nice texture on the plating but here I especially love the lume detail, in contrast to the cleanness of the railtrack around it. I'm still amazed how lume close-up looks like mould.
