    Picture Nikon Full Frame

In your opinion, should I buy the Nikon D810 or D750?

I like the 750's features and price point. I am thinking lightly used, because they are both older models. I am also leaning towards the 810 because it is previously the non- flagship, flagship. Basically the second best available.

    What are your thoughts?

What are you shooting and do you need the extra resolution?

You also need to consider the weight. D810 is pretty heavy. If you shoot with pro zoom lens, such as 24-70, or 70-200, the weight will be a concern. D750 is lighter and newer.

Really depends on what you want to shoot, and how you want to use it. Also, the dslr line is heavier. For me the weight is a non issue like so many people seem to mention, I think the weight is worth the results. I own a D700 and D810, I also have an array of large lenses from Nikon. I still get amazing results with my 700, but the 810 has other features I prefer, like video. I love the 810, it’s an amazing camera. I also still use my 700 for family events and what not if I’m not looking to video, or where I don’t need the resolution.

Is this your first dslr? Or do you have experience?

Other considerations are what you will need for max shutter and flash sync speed. The D750 has a max shutter of 1/4000 while the D810 has 1/8000. Also, the D750 flash sync is 1/200 vs 1/250.

810 if you have the computer to handle files. Focus stack with this much data are amazingly sharp.

This could be said for most new dslr bodies. Piles of megapixels seem to be the trend nowa days.
