Quick advice on taking photos of watches

I've got the nice camera and have read the instructions on how to do close up photos. The focus is great, but the lighting is very bad.

Can someone please provide some 'how to' instructions on lighting a watch for close up photography. Not looking to make a profession of this so I'm hoping for something relatively simple.

    Thanks for your help.

Well shoot...after doing searches on this forum I couldn't find anything then I found a whole area dedicated to photography.....Sorry guys!

Moved to the right forum, "Image Forum" is for images.

Diffused light is the way to go. Try a light box.
