It was suggested that I post these here, so who am I to say no.

My highlight was watching a great sunset. I was having dinner at my parents and saw that the sky was getting quite red, so I sat out side to watch it. I then thought that I should maybe take some photo's, so I got in the car and headed down to the beach, but by the time I got there the sun had gone down. Even though the sun was gone, the sky was still bright red and yellow, so I snapped away.
The colours are slightly different as I was trying various settings and just hoped for the best. My Sony DSC-W50 is quite good, but the photo's don't do the sunset justice. There were quite a few people along the beach but it was still quite quiet. Very peaceful.
This is the small island of Ailsa Craig which is to the left of the isle of Arran.
The sky actually has more red in it than the photo shows.
More of a wide shot of Arran.
This is close to what the sky actually looked like. With my camera, the sea is a bit too red though. I really wish I had my Canon G6 with me as it can take much better photo's.
About 15 minutes later, the sky was so red. There were a couple of people walking by saying that they have never seen the sky as red as that before. I took quite a few more photo's but I think they need to be tweaked a bit to get the correct colours. I really hope there are more sunsets like this one so I can get my Canon on the case. Thanks everyone for looking.
