    So I made myself a make-shift lightbox

    It cost me less than a dollar and here are the results

    Looks like some came out pretty good. 6 and 7 have a nice soft shadow. 2 however, has a pretty hard shadow. Did you place the softbox pretty close to the watch? I think for the money you spent it turned out pretty well. Now, just practice on keeping your camera's reflection off the watch :)

    Thanks for the suggestions. I really have to learn how to avoid reflections. A few of my friends are in to photography, maybe I can borrow their camera and perhaps get a few pointers.

    I like the one with the watch facing towards left (8:09:02) best, the focus is nice. Photo is somewhat grainy, what setup are you using?

    PS: I believe Willie meant Circular polarizing filter
