These shots were taken at Hidden Valley Resort, Laguna, Philippines. Got more photos while we were there but will have to post it separately. Thanks for looking!

    Very nice !

Looking good my friend We have the same camera I would highly recommend the Nikon 18-200 VR and for macro the Nikon 105 VR. I'm loving both lenses and the D40. I wish I would have waited longer for the D40x but oh well. Most of my watch photos are taken with Canon G7 though. Just a lot simpler for macro shots with the LCD. Thanks for sharing:thanks

Those are very nice pictures! I was posted in Singapore for 5 years (then Shanghai), and "most" people go to Indonesia and Thailand within SE Asia resorts, maybe Malaysia. But Hidden Valley is very nice. I was there once for a business conference, lucky me.

Just curious, what made you choose that location? Are you based in Las Vegas or overseas?

I'm from Vegas, and I'm also Filipino. I have family and friends there that I visit. I would love to see Thailand, Malaysia, and Indonesia as well, in fact next year we are planning to stop at Thailand en route to the Philippines. Thanks.

Not yet John, I'm fairly new. I have the lens kit and a 55-200 VR lens.

Thanks Allan! I would love to have the 18-200mm VR so I don't have to switch lenses but a little too pricey for me. I'm considering the 18-135mm lens but not sure as I have the 55-200mm VR which I love. Thanks again.
