Picture Some new images from my last batch of kodachrome

A few shots that I just got back from my last batch (ever) of Kodachrome. I converted them to B&W in Photoshop. I think these compositions look better as B&Ws.

These would be cool as part of a series of prints for a large wall
Pink Floyd. Dark side of the moon. Side one, track four.

It would be interesting to know whether the Kodachrome was ASA 25 or 64, whether you pushed the film, and also how long you've had it in storage. I find that Fuji Velvia 100 to be a great transparency film, although it tends to lien toward the Ektachrome characteristics of blues and greens. I have some 120 in my fridge. Sorry to see the Kodachrome go...

This was ASA 64, it was just out of being "in date" which was nov 2010 I shot the above images in Dec. - no pushing. I did some curves adjustments in CS5.

My primary color film for 35mm is Ektachrome E100VS, but I recently (well this summer and around christmas) did some shooting with Fugi Velvia 50 with my 4x5 camera. The results were quite nice.

here are some examples of those:
