    Some random shots

    Some images from my local ravine













    These images were taken with infrared filter during the late fall

    Only the last 3 are IR

    Nothing special. Just used a Hoya 72mn filter on my LX3. Composed the shot with the filter off (can't see through the lens with it on) and took some shots.

    Second has a flare up in the middle of the image.

    Some are buying coverted cameras to shoot IR images only. Harder to do with more modern non converted camera's as they're designed better to filter out the infrared.

    After I took the images. I used a program to convert them to the images you now see. Some do it manually, but I found the program does the same job with a single click.

    Found people selling converted models on Ebay, but I didn't take enough to warrent buying one

    Ohh I didn't you you could do this with just a filter. I'm going to check this out, I love the IR images.
