Strange Visitor comes to my photo shoot...Bugs must love watches too!

While I was trying to perfect my new founded hobby of photographing watches, This little green friend dropped in for a quick visit. I try to remember Macro techniques but the little guy was to fast. I managed to get a few shots in. Let me know what you think.... Shot using Panasonic LX3 on Macro setting, Manual, no flash 2.0 aperture 1/30 shutter a bit difficult considering macro shots are best on Tripods if subject is not moving. In this case, I was fighting a moving subject and mobile camera... Anyway i thought it was cool to see an insect that loves watches. Cheers

That's cool - good reaction time! I also have an LX3 and think it is a very good camera. I've done some macro work with it as well. Really good color reproduction in this camera/ lens

Looks like you got a pretty good one of him there. I'm thinking that watch may be a tad big on his wrist though.

I love my lx3, the leica lens is a plus for this compact camera. I used to own a Nikon D90 with the 50 mm 1.8 lens, I was worried about trading my D90 in for ths lx3, love DSLR but found it cumbersome for everyday house use.I dont regret the trade but miss the IQ of a DSLR. I hope in the future to buy the D700 Since prices have come down now. Thanks for your
feedback on the bug pic.. cheers friend
