    An interesting pairing, thanks for posting these. Wow. f/25, f/36? Why such a small aperture?

    I wanted the depth of field that the small aperture allows. I think most are at f36. You can see the length of the exposure in the second hand of the watches that were running. I wanted the details of the pipe, the watch and the contrasting grain of the table. The churchwarden has a very long stem and would only be in focus with a small aperture.

    ... and the depth of field becomes more delicate in closer shots like these... very nice!
