15 Jewel movement but not sure what make or calibre

Have used this forum many times to identify watch movements - thank you for the excellent pages and details you provide!

Have the following watch and am not sure what the movement is. It states 15 jewels Swiss made and on the back D33 (the 33 is written underneath the D). Is this a DuRoWe? If so why would it say Swiss made?

I am also interested what year roughly the watch was made.

Unfortunately the watch gained 15+ minutes an hour. Have cleaned the hairspring which was terribly sticky and now gains 2 - 3 minutes an hour. Will have to spend some more time to get adequate accuracy.

Thank you in advance for any help.

I think it says D 32 on ther back so mnaybe Derby 32? No shock protection and two less screws on the center bridge.

Thank you. I checked and it reads 33 (not very clear on attached images) but yes has 2 less screws and no shock protection.

The Derby 33 is a 10.5''' movement; not sure if that matches this? The keyless work is a match for what's shown in Bestfit though. The extra screws you see in the other site are the dial mount screws; you can see the ends of them on the dial side shot. How is the dial attached in yours?

It has the Derby trademark (D inside a chield) on the base plate.

The dial is attached by two screws on the side of the movement.

Almost all wristwatches attach the dial in that way.

Not really. Swiss watches continued to use knife-edge screws access from the back of the movement into the 30's and 40's (as in the case of the movement shown in the Metatechnical Cabinet, though I dont' know when exactly it's from). Since Derby was just the ebauch maker, the difference is likely the result of being finished by a different company.
