18K gold hunting case pocket watch B&C Trademark ID Help

    Hello Everyone,

New member here hoping to get any info on this pocket watch.
There is no identification mark except for the B&C Trademark logo and I haven't been able to find any information on that.
From the little digging that I've done, my guess is it's a pocket watch from early 1900's...had it serviced recently so it's back to life and I'm enjoying it very much.
Any additional info would be appreciated.

Will be posting a few more vintage family heirloom watches later on here as well to share.

David...what a neat Swiss watch! Here's my guess: it's a Borel & Courvoisier. The regulator certainly looks like their's, as do the winding wheels and the 'raised Gold jewel settings'.

I'm sure someone will provide a Definite Answer, tho!

And: the dial is really neat and ( in my experience ) unusual...another guess, is that it was used as a 'stopwatch' of some sort...it seems that someone wanted to use the minute hand to time an event / events...what a great design!

    It's a real sweetie of a watch...Enjoy! Michael.

According to Mikrolisk, that symbol is for Mathey Brothers, New York. I assume they were agents as the watch itself is Swiss with decoration for American tastes. That Wilmot's regulator provides a clue to the actual maker, but I'm afraid its not my area of expertise.

Thanks for the info Michael, the watch shop I took it too for servicing couldn't really tell me much either...in any case I am enjoying the movement and the tick tock sound as I am sitting here typing away :)

Thanks Tick Talk, I've been trying to hunt that trademark down to no avail...it certainly looks like that is it!
