1920s Art Deco Roamer - Restoration Completed

I just finished this one today, late 1920s - very similar design to many US designs of the period. Black enameled decorative bezel with a fancy dial, lume to numerals and hands.

This Roamer was intended for the US market - and is quite different to the staid watches sold in the UK.

Fitted with a 7 jewel MST 264 movement, and NOS Camel strap. The watch needed a good clean, new staff and hands (hands are period NOS).

    Movement here: http://roamer-watches.info/MST264.shtml

Nice work Kris - great result. And what a lovely picture to use as a background - very artistic.

Thanks Joe. I've taken a good year to get it done, so the speedy, well, it's breaking no speed barriers here. Actually waiting on 2 more parts, its getting hard to find a couple of parts I need at a sane price.

Thanks Steve. He's looking at the watch, not the wheel. Really

I like a lot of things about that watch, the hand design, dial designs, case art deco engraving. Looks very nice!

    Thanks for showing it

    Nice work.
This watch looks very clean and original looking, great sympathetic restoration work.
Love the lume and the fact that the case is not over polished.
    Top class.
