Is what original? The dial or watch or what? ...

Your picture is too small to see much detail.

If you want to know more about the watch post pictures of the movement & back.

It's not my watch, that's the only picture I've got.

I mean the overall impression of what you can see - case, dial, hands etc.
It would perhaps be a bit too much to ask for your opinion on the movement. I know you guys are experts, but still...

The case, dial, hands, crown and bracelet all seem to match each other in terms of style and condition. So if any parts have been swapped, then it wasn't done recently. It is certainly unlikely to have been created as a fake, as this is not the kind of watch that counterfeiters focus on.

Have GP ever produced a model like this?

Original or not, the watch was just sold at an online auction (not ebay) for 70 USD/47 EUR.

Who do you think made the best deal - the buyer or the seller...?

Unless the seller provided more info than you did, the buyer got:
    1. a ladies watch which may or may not have been working
    2. likely requires a service
    3. is "probably" a GP

I'd say the seller got lucky finding a buyer who would pay that much

I would say and assuming it is in running condition, the seller won a few extra bucks
