    1941 OMEGA Officer watch (WWII / Swedish Army order)

    Hi there
    runs exactly about 41 hrs
    Great watch
    1941 Omega 30.8mm
    special order of the Swedish Army
    cal. CK2299
    anybody knows something else?

    The movement's a cal. 26.5 T3 PC. Even if the serial would point to 1941, that'd mean that a movement from a batch made a year earlier has been used - the CK 2299 has been introduced in 1942.

    It should have a 26.5 T3 PC because it is signed as shockprotected, but it actually has a 26.5 T3 without shock devices. This would make me a bit nervous.

    I think it actually has shockprotection, just not Icabloc. See the screw under the regulator pointer, it looks a lot like a Förster device.

    I think that it is a CK 2299. The only other Officer that I'm familiar with is the CK 2165, but it had a different case back, with longer notches and slightly different markings.
