    Hi,
I have a few Tissot`s in my collection but I`m not an expert on them.
My initial thoughts are that the dial is possibly later than the movement as I`m not sure the Seastar range started as early as 1952 and the Tissot logo looks a bit too modern for that era.
I`ve found this link on the excellent Ranfft website which seems to show a watch with the same or related movement to yours but you will notice it is of a later date yet still using the lovely old style script on the dial.

The page also has a link to all the calibre (Tissot 27) variants on it.

Generally the quality of Tissots is very good though and I wouldn`t have thought spare parts should be an issue given the numbers sold and possible donor watches available.
Hopefully a Tissot expert can add a bit more input

The change over from the script logo to the one shown was 1959/60 so it's either had a dial or movement swap at some point.
