    1962 Omega Geneve "Abarth"

This is the watch I wear daily, an Omega Geneve from 1962.
I love the clean simple design of those early geneve series.

I was wondering if the "Abarth" dial was built in series. The local jeweller here said it's probably a one-off relation gift from Abarth at the time, but as it doesn't have an inscription that doesn't make much sense to me.
Does anyone here know more about this?

    Thanks in advance!
    Tim

Nice one! I imagine the Fiat tuners ordered a lot of these for gifts/promos for friends and associates?

No information for you but it is a very nice watch, looking at it you can see where the 'Sekonda' Deluxe was copied from!

That's a really nice looking Omega from the year I was born. Great clean style & the Abarth logo makes a nice addition.

The Sekonda Deluxe wasn't copied from this. This is a very different watch. Abarth, along with other manufacturers had watches printed with their logos to sell to their customers. They had a reputation for high quality products and the choice of Omega is no surprise.
