I`ve only seen a few myself, and none were as well kept as this one.I dare say the brand name was inspired by the already well established "omega`s" even if slightly tounge in cheek.

They old Alphas don't show up too often. A collector buddy of mine had a vintage Alpha divers watch. The dial reminded me of some of the more common Elgin divers of the 60s. Every once in a blue moon you see moon phase chronos and alarms.

    Nice pieces! Enjoy!

    Re: 4 more new arrivals

Like my other fellow correspondents I really like the Alpha. The current Alpha company based in Hong Kong bought the rights to the brand name, logo and perhaps the catalogue of designs from the owner of the original firm, which was long moribund, so it is the legitimate successor of the original firm. This does not seem to push up these old Alpha watches' prices though, quite unlike the revival of Glashütte...

I am sure we'd all like to see the movements of these watches, I have something of a suspicion about the Unichron being a watch of comparatively lesser sophistication, but it's a gut feeling actually.
