First consider condition. Then consider condition. Then worry about other factors. Service and repair of vintage is the primary factor in true cost of ownership.
"Forever is composed of nows." - Emily Dickinson

"The watch has to be surrounded by a history.
You need more than just a great design. You need to create an atmosphere around the product.
Who is the company behind it? Why are they using this material?
People need to be able to identify the watch with themselves. It's based on emotion." - Ralph Furter

...that's just my opinion and I've been wrong before and will be again and might be now!

    Research and experience
There are no serial number records for Hebdomas.

I don't know myself a lot about hebdomas but they were produced in a optical same way over many year until somethink around 1990. You found several qualities even some with less jewels and differend features. Therefore it's nessesary to read a lot. This might help fora beginning:

    HEBDOMAS story

Old hebdomas for example own a breguet spiral and with the modern compensation stuff it changes to a flat spiral and so on....

Thank´s all for advices. How one could estimate the production year of Hebdomas? Age 1900-1930? Simple question but so complicated answer.

    Re: About Hebdomas

I guess you've got it. All hebdomas I found were datet around 19xx. As I read beyond the lines, there doesn't excist a exact movementnumber list. You've the awards, who can't be written on the dustcover before the exhibition has passed: 1900 Paries,1902 Chicago,1906 Milan,1910 Bruxles and 1914 Berne. Then you've to look after changings (style signs of movement, dustcover and dial) during the timeline. As my little search shows, to determinate the age seems to be something for a specialist. I thing I know someone who look forward for a lot of interesting research. Maybe I'm wrong but otherwise, if I can catch a hebdomas in ten years I'll ask split sec .

    Kind regards Silke

Medals: Chicago-1892; Geneve-1896; Paris-1900; Milano-1906; Bruxelles-1910. There are watches on Ebay dated 1900 by saller with all five medals. What is impossible. Take care.

    Re: About Hebdomas

But 1914 Berne is missing. Therefore you've to look for other peaces if they usually mention this fact. Then you got the age near by. You can't expect that all ebay sellers do a good research on their watches. Time is money and many sellers have very differend products. Maybe he make a google search and thought he get the right aerea. You are the watchcollector therefore take care on your own and don't forget the facts Eeeb told you. The age doesn't really change the worth.

    Kind regards Silke
