    Accutron Mavens - ID help

I know this movement - Universal Geneve 2-51 - is licensed from Bulova, but which movement is it? Perhaps a dumb question, but I am a tuning fork ignoramus and the search function is giving me "Database error." Thanks in advance.

A varient of the 218. They even twisted the movement in the case to put the crown at the 3 o'clock rather than the 218's 4-5 o'clock position.

    Thanks mrsnak!

I agree about the dial. I am a complete tuning fork newbie, knowing nothing about them but that they are difficult to repair, but the dial hooked me ! - now to see if I can find someone to put it in running order...

one astoundingly beautiful watch...that dial is like going down the rabbit hole--it's trippy and very analytical at the same time...it even vibrates .
